Matthew is an award-winning filmmaker with over thirteen years experience in every aspect of production, from writing and development, through shooting and production, all the way to visual effects and final on-lining. His knowledge in all aspects of production allows him to find creative, high-production value yet budget-friendly solutions to any production problems that might arise. He has spent the last six years on his first feature documentary film as a director, shooting and producing in the bustle of Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire and desolation of the desert in Senegal.

He grew up between Colorado and Italy; between the vast, open spaces of the American west and the narrow, winding streets of Rome. He is equally fascinated by unspoiled nature and the material we humans produces and leave behind. He has always felt that film is the only medium that can capture the full spectrum of chaos that he wishes to explore.
